The First Nation Group Foundation was proud to rev our engines for deserving kids in our communities by featuring The NASCAR Foundation as our Q3 Quarterly Cause Connection (QCC) highlight, bringing employees, partners, and community members together to learn how this organization helps children survive and thrive.
Celebrating 20 years in 2026, The NASCAR Foundation is a national charity dedicated to improving children’s lives through the Speediatrics Children’s Fund and the Betty Jane France Humanitarian Award. Driven by the belief that every child deserves the opportunity to live a healthy life and cross their own finish line, the foundation works to advance health and wellness programs and services for children in racing communities nationwide.
Nichole Krieger, Executive Director of The NASCAR Foundation, gave participants a behind-the-scenes look at the heart, energy, and community that fuel the organization’s work. She shared how Speediatrics Fun Day Festivals turn health and wellness into an experience kids can get excited about – with a week of wellness activities leading up to a NASCAR-themed festival where children play, connect, and receive a bike to keep them active long after the checkered flag. She also shared the heartwarming work of the Speedy Bear Brigade, which brings NASCAR-themed bears to children in hospitals, and the Betty Jane France Humanitarian Award, which shines a spotlight on NASCAR fans making a difference through volunteerism.
For The First Nation Group Foundation, the conversation hit close to home. The foundation has proudly supported the Speediatrics Fun Day Festival in Brooklyn, Michigan, for the past two years, with First Nation Group employees joining the fun as volunteers. Seeing those experiences come to life through Nichole’s stories and videos was a great reminder of the impact these programs have on children and the communities around them.
Through its Veterans and Community Services impact area, The First Nation Group Foundation is proud to support organizations that create meaningful opportunities for children, families, and communities.
We are honored to spotlight organizations like The NASCAR Foundation through our QCC series and help amplify the people and programs making a difference in the lives of children nationwide. #TOGETHERSTRONG, we can continue learning, growing, and giving as we live our mission of tackling the most complex needs nationwide.
The Quarterly Cause Connection is a virtual lunch and learn series designed to educate, inspire, and connect participants with nonprofit organizations making a meaningful impact for Veterans, active duty military members, and underserved communities. As part of each session, the foundation proudly provides a $250 donation on behalf of every attendee to support the featured organization.
